ONLINE EVENT: Understanding your horse's brain behaviour - 2 part workshop

Understanding your horse's brain and behaviour is the first place to start when trying to build a relationship or manage common behavioural complaints.

Learn why your horse behaves the way he/she does and ways to help your horse learn how to look to you for support and guidance.

This 2 part online workshop will give you an opportunity to get your nerd on and learn some basic equine neuroscience. You will also take away some very practical and fun ways to help calm your horse and games to build your relationship. You horse will love learning from you and being with you by the time you finish this workshop.

Part 1 will cover:

  • Basic horse neuroanatomy

  • Basics on nervous system

  • Emotions, thoughts and senses

  • How horses learn

  • Horse body language

Part 2 will cover:

  • How to help your horse learn new things and overcome old things

  • How to support the anxious or flighty horse

  • How to support the angry horse

  • Games to play to build horse/human relationships

  • Questions and answers tailored to specific horse behaviours
