Our mission at CM Training is to teach people the science of understanding how the horse and human mind works. We want to teach people how to observe and correctly interpret behaviour and understand why it is occurring and then how to support that mind and behaviour.

We hope that by teaching people the science to truly understand their horse, the result will be a relationship based on deep trust, acceptance, connection, confidence, communication and understanding.

The bond between a horse and human is like no other. We are often drawn to horses because they fulfill our heart’s desire. When the idea of our perfect horse doesn’t align with the reality, we often find ourselves feeling frustrated, emotional and unconfident. This can lead to a horse that expresses unhealthy, and sometimes dangerous behaviours and results in an unbalanced relationship between horse and human.

Understanding why, how and what your horse thinks is critical when developing a true partnership. Your horse needs you to understand the world from their eyes as the ultimate prey animal and as an individual. Your horse needs you to prove to them that you will be the team leader they need and show them in the language that they understand. When your intentions are based on your horse's needs and not results or agendas, then your horse will give you everything!
