Brain training for horses and humans clinic-workshop

  • Quenda Glade Equine Gidgegannup, WA, 6083 Australia (map)

These brain training clinic workshops are not the standard-issued clinics that most people are used to.

Bring a horse or just bring yourself and learn the same amount!

I combine a workshop with a clinic so I can teach people with and without horses and everyone can learn as much as possible whether they come with a horse or not.

The daily teaching schedule is split into thirds:

  • Early morning: Teaching people knowledge about the mind and behaviour of horses and humans. I give people a crash course in neuroscience so they can understand why the brain does what it does and why certain behaviours exist.

  • Mid-morning: I demonstrate using a volunteer horse how to read and understand important stress cues and body language. I also demonstrate how to help a horse to find a neutral state of mind so they can destress and relax.

  • Afternoon: Participants with horses apply what they have learned and take it to the next level by playing calmness, confidence and cognition games. I set up special activities here to help horse and human focus on building brain training with the right focus in the right areas.

Participants that come without horses will learn just as much as those with horses. This learning environment is highly unique and is targeted at teaching every single person who attends.

My goal is to help every single participant get the absolute most out of the day and learn new and effective skills to build mental and emotional resilience in horses and humans, to inspire people to know that they can achieve that deep connection and happiness everyone is searching for and finally to help people to achieve ways to strengthen their relationships with themselves, their horses and any other people.

Participant options and cost:

Participants with a horse for one day - $170 (5 places available)

Participants without a horse for one day - $120 (20 places available)
